- ORGANIZATION AND GENERAL INFO
The event is organized by Asd Team Zero Bike of Lignano Sabbiadoro. It is a competitive race organized under the auspices of the F.C.I. and included in the FCI national gravel calendar. It features a mass start and a marked route with general and category rankings. In any case, a GPS track of the route will also be provided. Open only to holders of a valid competitive medical certificate specific to Cycling or athletes regularly registered with Fci or EPS.

- ROUTE
The route is a single one of approximately 60 km, entirely flat, developing through the municipalities of Lignano Sabbiadoro, Latisana, and Precenicco. The route will develop mainly between gravel roads and secondary roads. The number of laps to be completed is defined based on the membership categories:
• 2 LAPS (totaling approximately 120km): Professional/Elite, Master Group 1 M/F, Master Group 2 M, Master Group 3 M;
• 1 LAP (totaling approximately 60km): Master Group 2 F, Master Group 3 F, Master Group 4 M/F;
The O.C. reserves the right to establish time cut-offs along the route.
- PARTICIPATION
All athletes (competitive/amateur categories from 19 years old and up) provided for by the UCI/FCI regulations valid for the 2026 season who meet the requirements listed below may participate in the LAROSTE GRAVEL RACE. Competitors must:
• Be in compliance with a valid 2026 membership with the UCI/FCI and/or Sports Promotion Bodies recognized by the FCI for Italian athletes and bodies recognized by the UCI for foreign athletes. Everyone must be in compliance with a valid sports medical certificate, which must be shown at the bib collection if requested. Foreign athletes must fill out and submit the appropriate international medical certificate.
• If not holders of a recognized membership card, they must possess a valid competitive sports medical certificate for cycling and acquire a daily FCI card provided by the Organizing Committee at a cost of €20.00, which can be acquired directly during online registration (subject to availability). At the bib collection, they must, under penalty of exclusion from the event, present the aforementioned mandatory medical certificate, which must be submitted in paper copy to the organizing committee in compliance with Federal regulations. Foreign athletes must fill out and submit the appropriate international medical certificate.
- RANKINGS AND AWARDS
All athletes, competitive and amateur, who complete the entire route within the established maximum times, legibly displaying the bib number on their back and helmet, participate in the various rankings. Crossing the finish line without having regularly covered one's race route entails the communication of the infraction to the appointed jury, which will take appropriate measures.

• Master Group 1: Elite Sport M/F (ELMT, 19-29 years), Master 1 M/F (M1, MW1 30-34 years), Master 2 M/F (M2, MW2 35-39 years)
• Master Group 2: Master 3 M/F (M3, MW3 40-44 years), Master 4 M/F (M4, MW4 45-49 years)
• Master Group 3: Master 5 M/F (M5, MW5 50-54 years), Master 6 M/F (M6, MW6 55-59 years)
• Master Group 4: Master 7 M/F (M7, MW7 60/64 years), Master 8 M/F (M8, MW8 65/69 years), Master 9 M/F (M9, MW9 70/74 years), Master 10 M/F (M10+, MW10+ 75+ years)
In case of categories with fewer than 3 starting athletes, mergers with adjacent categories may be arranged.
- STARTING GRIDS
Entry into the grids is scheduled 20 minutes before the start and in any case according to the number of registered participants in agreement with the President of the Jury. The O.C. reserves the right to divide the start into multiple grids/start blocks and to establish merit grids to ensure the best performance of the event. Athletes who start in the wrong grid will be disqualified.
- TIME CUT-OFFS
A time cut-off is established at the end of the first lap at the start/finish passage one hour after the passage of the first absolute athlete. The O.C., in agreement with and/or upon indication of the Race Jury, reserves the right to establish further time cut-offs.
- REGISTRATION AND FEES
• Amateur categories: online registration + "fattore K" for FCI members.
• Competitive categories: "fattore K" for FCI members, online registration for foreign athletes.

Registrations will open on 05.01.2026 at 08.00 AM.
The participation fee is fixed at €60.00. Until 07.31.2026, it will be possible to register at the promotional rate of €50.00.
Online registrations will end on 09.23.2026 at 11.59 PM; no registrations will be accepted beyond the closing deadline. It will not be possible to register on-site on the day of the event.
The fees indicated above are to be considered net of expenses, costs, and management fees possibly applied for the payment operation deriving from the use of various payment methods (credit card, bank transfer, foreign bank transfer); these will be borne by the participant.
The registration fee will include:
• RACE PACK with event souvenirs (guaranteed only for the first 250 registered);
• PARTICIPATION NUMBER to be placed on the bike;
• REFRESHMENTS with food and drinks;
• TIMING;
• FINAL AWARDS according to the regulations;
• “PASTA PARTY” (or similar) at the conclusion of the event.
COMBO RIDE + RACE
It is possible to register for both events in combination (Laroste Gravel Race on 09.26.2026 and Laroste Gravel Ride on 09.27.2026) online via the specific function on the official website of the event https://iscrizioni.larostegravel.it/it . - ALLOWED BICYCLES
Bicycles: Non-electric gravel, road, or cyclocross bicycles are allowed. Handlebars can be drop-shaped, must be made in a single piece; bar-ends or extensions (triathlon bars, MTB bars, and any other handlebar extension system) are prohibited.
- SAFETY MEASURES
For the safety of the participants, the use of a certified helmet is mandatory throughout the event. It is advisable to carry out an accurate technical check of the vehicle before taking part in the competition.
The event will also take place on public and private roads. It is everyone's duty to respect the traffic rules in areas open to traffic and in any case on two-lane roads. Furthermore, it is mandatory to comply with UCI and FCI safety regulations. Anyone who does not respect these rules will be immediately disqualified.
- CANCELLATION OF PARTICIPATION
If a registered person is unable to participate in the event, the registration fee will not be refunded. In case of cancellation received by 09.22.2026, the participation fee alone will be considered valid for registration for the 2027 edition and not transferable to another participant; it will be the athlete's responsibility to contact the O.C. with reasonable notice for the regularization of the registration for the 2027 edition.
- WITHDRAWALS
Athletes who stop and do not finish the event by withdrawing must inform the organization according to the procedures defined by the organization.
- MECHANICAL ASSISTANCE
No type of mechanical assistance is provided by the organization; therefore, it is highly recommended to have a kit for fault repairs and punctures.
- GENERAL REGULATIONS
The bike plate and bib are mandatory and must be regularly mounted and clearly visible. The use of a certified and fastened helmet is mandatory for the entire duration of the event.
The organization assumes no responsibility for any accidents, damage, or theft to participants and third parties, before, during, and after the event. The organization has the right to modify the event route at any time due to force majeure.
The event will take place under any weather conditions. For all indications not expressed in these regulations, FCI rules apply. The organization reserves the right to modify these regulations at any time.
THE ORGANIZATION ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITS the use of any motor-driven vehicle on the entire event track.
In case of cancellation or suspension of the event for reasons of force majeure not attributable to the organizer, the participation fee will not be refunded.
The organizer declines all responsibility for itself and its collaborators for accidents or damage to persons or property that may occur before, during, and after the event or as a result of it. Participation is at your own risk.
By registering, the competitor waives any right to sue, even against third parties, against the O.C. and all those natural and legal persons involved in the organization of the event. The organization declines all responsibility for the sending of photographs by unauthorized operators.
- ADDITIONAL SAFETY MEASURES
Slower competitors are obliged to facilitate overtaking by faster participants. Passages that are not clearly visible must be traversed at an appropriate speed. Never exceed your own technical limit.
Any technical breakdowns of the vehicle must be repaired off the event track. Anyone who does not respect these rules will be disqualified immediately. The highway code must always be respected.
- SIGNATURE AND PRIVACY
With registration and payment of the fee, the athlete accepts the processing of their personal data by third parties for processing purposes pursuant to Law no. 675/96. Personal data may be used to send communications regarding the event in question and/or future editions of the event.
With registration, the athlete authorizes the organizers to use photographic and/or television material concerning them collected before, during, and after the event for promotion and dissemination activities of the event itself.
- REGULATORY CHANGES
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify or vary the following regulations, to vary the route and services related to the event up to the date of the Event, should it deem it appropriate, for regulatory, organizational, and logistical reasons and to ensure the safety and success of the event.
